Things are bad and they're getting worse. While the president should be focused on jobs, he's not—and would-be hardworking Americans continue to fill the unemployment lines. We've been warning of an onslaught of bad rules and ridiculous enforcement out of Washington, D.C.—and a court just ordered the EPA to pay $1.7 million for malicious prosecution of a small businessman who may have done nothing wrong.

All in all, the only conclusion we can draw is that America faces what we're calling a "leadership recession":

Government is always going to be many steps behind. Ideas, innovation, creativity, ingenuity, all the important ingredients to economic growth and job creation, are not found in government, only taxed and regulation by government.
