The Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. There is no charge for this service (unless you are applying for STEP Platinum), and your responses are strictly confidential.

Program Benefits

• An organized approach for analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs
• A valid, objective method for measuring safety program improvements
• A safety performance recognition useful in business development

STEP applications are accepted throughout the year. However, if you wish to receive your STEP certificate at your the ABC Safety Awards ceremony, please submit you STEP application to your our chapter no later than July 22, 2011.
